چکیده
Bacterial infections, especially antibiotic-resistant bacterial pose a significant threat to human health. Supramolecular gel with innate antibacterial properties is an advanced material for the treatment of which have attracted great attention. Herein, reactive oxygen species (ROS)-responsive supramolecular developed by bottom-up approach based on phenylalanine and hydrazide properties. The structure gelators intermediate products was characterized proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) high-resolution mass spectrum (HRMS). results 1H NMR Fourier transform infrared (FT–IR) experiment disclosed that hydrogen bonding π–π stacking force are important self-assembly driving forces gelators. microstructure mechanical were studied Scanning electron microscope (SEM) Rheometer, respectively. An in vitro degradation proved gelator has ROS-responsive drug release further manifested antibiotic-loaded drug-release performances. cytotoxicity showed good biocompatibility could promote cell proliferation. excellent inherent properties, rate against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) Escherichia coli (E. coli) 98.6% 99.1%, as novel agent application prospects treating bacterial-infected wounds preventing development resistance.

Injectable Bioadhesive Hydrogels with Innate Antibacterial Properties
Surgical site infections cause significant postoperative morbidity and increased healthcare costs. Bioadhesives used to fill surgical voids and support wound healing are typically devoid of antibacterial activity. Here we report novel syringe-injectable bioadhesive hydrogels with inherent antibacterial properties prepared from mixing polydextran aldehyde and branched polyethylenimine. These adh...
متن کاملZwitterionic supramolecular nanoparticles: self-assembly and responsive properties.
Supramolecular nanoparticles (SNPs) are of high interest in both nanoscience and molecular diagnostics and therapeutics, because of their reversible and designable properties. To ensure colloidal stabilization and biocompatibility, most reported strategies require the use of hydrophilic long-chain polymers such as poly(ethylene glycol). Here, we show the formation of zwitterionic supramolecular...
متن کاملSupramolecular copolymers with stimuli-responsive sequence control.
We report a novel responsive supramolecular copolymer able to change its monomer sequence as a result of molecular stimuli. Nucleic acids and RNAse are used as molecular inputs, controlling the clustering of specific monomers along the polymer backbone. This opens new ways towards the molecular control of synthetic supramolecular networks.

Self-assemblyings of surfactant-encapsulated Wells-Dawson polyoxometalates (SEPs) nanobuilding blocks in butanone and esters yielded supramolecular gels showing thermo and photo responsive properties. The gels can be further polymerized if unsaturated esters were used and subsequently electrospinned into nanowires and non-woven mats. The as-prepared non-woven mats have a Young's modulus as high...
متن کاملOptically responsive supramolecular polymer glasses
The reversible and dynamic nature of non-covalent interactions between the constituting building blocks renders many supramolecular polymers stimuli-responsive. This was previously exploited to create thermally and optically healable polymers, but it proved challenging to achieve high stiffness and good healability. Here we present a glass-forming supramolecular material that is based on a trif...
